General
Is this legal? How does this differ from getting peptides elsewhere?
All prescribing is done by US-licensed physicians based on your labs and medical history, and medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy, not sold directly to you. This is different from unregulated sources that skip physician oversight and lab-based dosing entirely.
How does the biomarker kit work?
You order a panel and we ship an at-home collection kit. A simple blood sample goes to a certified lab, and the lab reports results 2 to 3 business days after it receives your sample. Results land in your portal as soon as the lab reports them, with anything flagged clearly marked, and critical values trigger outreach from our clinical team.
Does a biomarker panel include medication?
Not automatically. A panel gives you test results. If a result comes back flagged, it is clearly marked and you can book a physician visit to go over it. Medication is only prescribed if it is clinically indicated.
What if a marker is flagged?
Flagged results are clearly marked in your portal, and critical values trigger outreach from our clinical team. From there, a physician visit may lead to a treatment recommendation, a follow-up test, or simply monitoring it on your next panel.
Why track biomarkers monthly?
A single test is a snapshot; monthly testing shows a trend. Hormones, metabolic markers, and other biomarkers shift in response to treatment, lifestyle, and time. Tracking monthly lets your physician see whether a protocol is actually working and adjust it in real time, rather than guessing based on how you feel. Monthly is the recommended cadence, not a billing cycle: each panel is a separate one-off purchase, so you decide when to order the next one.
What is The Pep Club?
The Pep Club is a telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed physicians for personalized peptide therapy consultations and prescriptions. Our service covers the full treatment lifecycle - from initial medical evaluation through prescription fulfillment by accredited compounding pharmacies, all managed through a single secure portal.
What are peptides and how do they work?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body, influencing processes such as metabolism, tissue repair, immune response, and hormone regulation. When prescribed as therapy, specific peptides target receptors in the body to promote desired outcomes like weight management, recovery from injury, or improved cellular function. Each peptide has a distinct mechanism of action backed by clinical research.
Is The Pep Club a legitimate medical service?
Yes. Clinical care is delivered by Arora Health and Aesthetics, LLC (the Group) and the licensed providers the Group engages; The Pep Club Inc. is the management services organization behind the platform and provides no clinical service itself. Consultations are conducted by licensed physicians who evaluate your health history, order labs when necessary, and write prescriptions only when clinically appropriate. We maintain HIPAA compliance, use accredited compounding pharmacies, and follow all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.
Who are the physicians at The Pep Club?
Our physicians are board-certified medical doctors with active state licenses and expertise in peptide therapy, anti-aging medicine, or functional medicine. Each physician holds a valid DEA registration and NPI number. We verify credentials continuously and never tie physician compensation to prescription volume, in strict compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute.
What makes compounded peptides different from brand-name medications?
Compounded peptides are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies to meet a specific prescription for an individual patient. Unlike mass-produced brand-name medications, compounded formulations allow physicians to customize dosage strength and delivery method. All compounding is performed under strict quality standards at 503A or 503B registered pharmacies that follow applicable state and federal regulations.
Consultations
How does a telehealth consultation work?
After completing a medical intake questionnaire, you request a consultation with a licensed physician through your Pep Club portal. The physician reviews your health history, lab results, and goals, and replies by secure message within 1 business day, determining whether peptide therapy is clinically appropriate. If a prescription is warranted, it is sent electronically to our partner pharmacy for fulfillment.
How long does a consultation take?
You will hear back from your physician by secure message within 1 business day of submitting your request. There is no appointment to schedule and no waiting room. If your physician needs more detail, they will ask follow-up questions through the same secure-message thread, and the conversation continues until you understand your treatment plan.
What should I prepare before my consultation?
You should complete the medical intake form in your portal before requesting a consultation. Have a list of current medications, supplements, known allergies, and any relevant lab results ready. If you have specific health goals or concerns, include them in your request so your physician can address them directly in their reply.
Can I choose my physician?
We match patients with physicians based on availability, state licensure, and clinical expertise. While you may not always select a specific doctor, we ensure every physician on our platform meets strict credentialing requirements. If you prefer to continue with the same physician for follow-ups, we make every effort to accommodate that request.
What if I change my mind after submitting a request?
You can cancel a consultation request through your patient portal at any time before your physician begins their review. There is no penalty for cancelling, and you can submit a new request whenever you are ready.
Do I need a consultation for every prescription refill?
Not necessarily. Your physician will establish a treatment plan with a defined refill schedule. Routine refills can often be processed without a full consultation, though periodic check-ins are required to monitor your progress and adjust dosages. Your physician will let you know how frequently follow-up consultations are needed for your specific treatment.
Prescriptions
Do I need a biomarker panel to get medication, or can I get it without testing?
In most cases, no. Our physicians prescribe based on your actual lab results and medical history, not a questionnaire alone. This keeps treatment matched to what your body is actually showing.
How do I get a prescription for peptides?
Peptide prescriptions require a medical consultation with a licensed physician. After you complete the medical intake questionnaire and submit a consultation request, your physician will evaluate whether peptide therapy is appropriate for your condition. If approved, the prescription is sent electronically to an accredited compounding pharmacy for fulfillment.
Do all peptides require a prescription?
Yes. All peptides offered through The Pep Club are prescription medications that require a physician evaluation before the partner pharmacy dispenses them. This is a safety requirement - peptides are biologically active compounds, and proper medical oversight ensures the right peptide, dosage, and administration method for your individual health profile.
How long does it take to get my prescription filled?
Once your physician submits the prescription, compounding typically takes 3 to 5 business days. After compounding is complete, the medication is shipped directly to your address with appropriate temperature controls. The total time from prescription to delivery is usually 5 to 8 business days, depending on your location.
Can my existing doctor prescribe through The Pep Club?
Currently, prescriptions must be written by physicians on the Pep Club platform who have been credentialed through our system. This ensures proper documentation, electronic prescribing compliance, and continuity of care within our platform. If you have an existing prescription, discuss it with your Pep Club physician during your consultation.
What happens if my prescription is denied?
If your physician determines that peptide therapy is not appropriate for you based on your medical history or current health status, they will explain the reasoning and discuss alternative options. Patient safety is the top priority, and a denial simply means the physician did not find the treatment clinically suitable at this time. You will not be charged for the prescription if it is not written.
Pricing & Billing
Can I cancel anytime?
Medication subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account portal, with no phone calls required.
Will my insurance cover this?
No. The Pep Club is a cash-pay service. This lets us skip insurance delays and keep the testing-to-treatment loop fast, but it also means costs are out of pocket. HSA and FSA cards are generally accepted, and we provide itemized receipts.
How much does The Pep Club cost?
Lab panels are priced per panel rather than per month. There are three tiers - Core, Expanded and Pro - and the tier price buys any one panel in that tier. Members who keep testing save 5% from three months and 10% from six months onward. Medication subscriptions are billed monthly and independently for patients who qualify after a physician consultation. Current prices for every tier and medication are listed on the pricing page, and there are no hidden fees.
What is included in a panel?
Every panel includes the at-home collection kit, the prepaid return label, CLIA-certified lab processing, and results in your patient portal with protocol-aware interpretation, delivered as soon as the lab reports them. Medication subscriptions, available to qualifying patients after a telehealth consultation, are billed separately and cover physician-supervised protocol management with shipping from the partner pharmacy.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Yes. The Pep Club panel fees and prescription costs are generally eligible for payment with Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. We recommend confirming eligibility with your specific plan administrator, as rules can vary. We provide detailed receipts for all charges to simplify reimbursement.
What is your refund policy?
The Refund Policy page is the binding version, and it is the one to read. In outline: new customers have a seven-day cooling-off window from their first purchase, available once per account, provided no collection kit has shipped and no prescription has been written on that account. Medication subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has started, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges. If a prescription cannot be filled due to a medical determination or a pharmacy issue, you will not be charged for the medication. Contact our support team for any billing dispute and we will work to resolve it promptly.
Can I order a different panel next time?
Yes. Each order is a single panel, so you can pick a different panel or a different tier whenever you order again. Your results will show whether another panel would serve you better next time, and a physician visit is available if you want guidance. Medication subscriptions are adjusted independently with your physician after a consultation.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship to all states?
Not yet. Run an eligibility check to confirm your state before you order.
How are peptides shipped?
Peptides are shipped directly from our accredited compounding pharmacy partners using insulated, temperature-controlled packaging. Shipments include cold packs or gel packs as needed to maintain product stability during transit. All packages are shipped via tracked carriers so you can monitor delivery status through your patient portal.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 2 to 3 business days after the compounding process is complete. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for an additional fee. You will receive tracking information via email and in your portal as soon as your order ships.
What if my shipment is damaged or lost?
If your shipment arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected delivery window, contact our support team immediately. We will coordinate with the pharmacy and shipping carrier to investigate. In most cases, a replacement shipment is sent at no additional cost to you once the issue is confirmed.
Are there temperature requirements for peptide shipping?
Yes. Many peptides are temperature-sensitive and must remain within a controlled range during transit. Our pharmacy partners use insulated packaging with cold chain materials designed to maintain appropriate temperatures for the expected shipping duration. Once you receive your shipment, follow the storage instructions included with your medication to preserve potency.
Safety & Quality
Are peptides safe?
When prescribed by a licensed physician and used as directed, peptides have a well-established safety profile. Each peptide undergoes clinical evaluation, and your physician will assess your individual health history to identify any contraindications before prescribing. Like all medications, peptides can cause side effects, which your physician will review with you during your consultation.
What are common side effects of peptide therapy?
Common side effects vary by peptide but may include mild injection site reactions such as redness or swelling, temporary nausea, headaches, or fatigue. Most side effects are mild and resolve on their own within a few days. Your physician will discuss the specific side effect profile for your prescribed peptide and what to watch for during treatment.
How do you ensure the quality of compounded peptides?
All peptides are compounded by 503A or 503B registered pharmacies that follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Each batch undergoes potency testing, sterility testing, and endotoxin screening before dispensing. Our pharmacy partners are regularly inspected by state boards of pharmacy and maintain accreditation from recognized bodies such as PCAB or ACHC.
What should I do if I experience side effects?
If you experience mild side effects, document them and report them to your physician at your next consultation. For moderate or worsening symptoms, contact your Pep Club physician through the portal for guidance on whether to adjust your dosage or discontinue treatment. In case of a severe allergic reaction or medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Are your pharmacies accredited?
Yes. All compounding pharmacies in the Pep Club network hold active state pharmacy licenses and maintain accreditation from nationally recognized organizations. We verify licensing, inspection history, and quality control procedures before onboarding any pharmacy partner, and we conduct periodic reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable standards.
How should I store my peptides?
Most peptides should be stored in a refrigerator at 36 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit (2 to 8 degrees Celsius) and kept away from direct light. Once reconstituted, some peptides have a limited shelf life and must be used within a specific timeframe. Detailed storage instructions are included with every shipment and are also available in your patient portal.

How is my data and privacy protected?
Your health data is protected under HIPAA and handled the same way any medical provider would handle it. Full details are in our HIPAA notice.
How does The Pep Club protect my health information?
The Pep Club protects your protected health information (PHI) with TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest on managed database infrastructure, role-based access controls, and tamper-evident audit logging with chain-hash detection. Is The Pep Club HIPAA compliant?
The Pep Club is built to the HIPAA Security Rule. We implement technical safeguards including encrypted data storage, automatic session timeouts, audit trail logging with chain-hash tamper detection, and strict role-based access controls. Business Associate Agreements with our service providers are executed as each vendor is brought under contract; that work is in progress and is not finished. The current subprocessor list is published in our Privacy Policy.
What is a Business Associate Agreement?
